1. Toyota Innova Crysta Diesel
Toyota recently reintroduced the Innova Crysta diesel model following a brief discontinuation. This will be the brand’s first time offering two Innova models at the same time. The Crysta is now available with a 2.4-litre diesel powertrain, whereas it was previously only sold with a 2.7-litre petrol engine. In addition, subtle design changes have been made to the front bumper, grille and fog lamp housing for an updated look.
2. Citroen eC3
Introduced as the all-electric version of the Citroen C3 hatchback, the eC3 is a fitting new entrant to the EV market. The manufacturer has plans to export the model, boosting sales with its attractive design that closely resembles its internal combustion counterpart. It features a 29.2kWh battery boasting an ARAI certified range of 320km; and driven via a powered motor producing 57hp and 143Nm of peak torque at the front axle. 3. Maruti Suzuki Fronx
Maruti Suzuki’s newest offering is the Baleno-based Fronx SUV coupe. It is equipped with two powertrain options; both come equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission. In addition, the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine offers a 6-speed automatic gearbox, and for the 1.2-litre petrol engine it is an AMT setup that you will get to experience. Currently available at Nexa outlets, this new model will compete in the market with the likes of Citroen C3, Tata Punch, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger.
4. Honda City Facelift
Honda is set to introduce the fifth-generation City’s mid-life refresh, considering its last gen launch took place in mid-2020. With the update, we can expect minor design revisions on the exterior of the car; a restyling of front and rear bumpers as well as new alloy wheels are some of the changes that can be expected. Additionally, Honda may decide to make available an economical version of the City e:HEV for interested customers.
5. Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG
The Maruti Suzuki Brezza is set to make its debut as the country’s first CNG-powered vehicle with an automatic gearbox. The 1.5-litre K15C DualJet engine that powers the Ertiga and XL6 will also be powering the Brezza, and it produces an impressive 100hp/136Nm in petrol mode, as well as 88hp/121.5Nm in CNG mode. As with the other MPVs, the Brezza comes complete with a 5-speed manual gearbox; however, it also features a 6-speed torque converter for extra convenience.
