EV startup Zypp Electric announced a successful $25 million funding round this week, led by Gogoro and joined by Goodyear Ventures, 9Unicorns, WFC, Venture Catalysts, and LetsVenture. This newly-raised capital is expected to be allocated to growing their team size, advancing the platform’s technology capabilities, widening its network to 30 cities in India and eventually expanding their current 10k electric vehicle fleet up to 200k vehicles. Akash Gupta – Co-founder & CEO of Zypp Electric – also expounded on future plans for international expansions. Beyond being the prominent EV company in the market today; Zypp Electric acts as an intermediary between E-commerce & Food delivery platforms (such as Amazon, Flipkart, Swiggy & Zomato) with delivery executives across India.
